Day 93 - Mimi Day

My mom got home at 7pm Sunday night (in Toronto). She had all day Monday to do laundry and re pack her things because Tuesday at 9am so was off again. My sister is actually having gall bladder surgery (like mother like daughter hey??) on the 15th so my mom is going out to take care of her for a week or so. Since my mom was only home the one day Sienna and I went and hung out with her. We didn't do much really at all, just spent some time together. It was really nice. Sienna REALLY missed her. It was sweet.

Nap time went decently. About a 20 minute battle. Her stalling tactic of the day was "mommy!! Where are you??! Lookin' for you!!" Ugh. And the best, "I need makeup!! Need slippers to fall asleep!!" Man that kid. Anyway, she slept for just over an hour. After her nap we went outside to do one of Sienna's favorite things: fill up the bird feeder. The chipmunks empty that thing in like 2-3 days it's insane so we can fill it 2-3 times a week no problem. She loves it. Not really sure why...but she does!

We went to my parents for dinner. Just some ordered in pizza but it was so good! After a quick visit it was time for bed. Another 20 minutes or so of the same ordeal. She's not getting out of her bed as much anymore so that's definitely progress. To go from getting out of her bed and screaming/yelling and pounding on the door to just sitting in bed yelling nonsense is definitely an improvement. Now we don't have to go in every 10 seconds to put her back in bed. Ugh. It'll be over soon....right??!
